Two elderly people found unconscious in an apartment in Jerusalem; circumstances not yet clear
The two, in their 70s, were found lying on the bedroom floor while breathing. MADA teams are treating them on the spot. Firefighters are conducting searches and checks in the apartment. At this stage, the circumstances of the incident are not yet clear.

Firefighters are operating this evening (Thursday) in a residential building on Moshe Dayan Boulevard in Jerusalem, following a suspicion of hazardous materials in an apartment on the fourth floor. After checks, it was determined that this is not a hazardous materials incident, and the circumstances are under investigation.
According to the Fire and Rescue Authority, two people were found in the apartment, a man and a woman in their 70s, unconscious but breathing, after being found lying on the bedroom floor. MADA teams are providing them with medical treatment on the spot.
MADA paramedic Nadav Tayeb and MADA motorcycle unit medic David Levy said: "We saw a man and a woman in their 70s who were unconscious. We provided them with life-saving medical treatment, sedated and intubated the man, and evacuated them to the hospital in serious condition."
Firefighters from the HaUma station are conducting searches and checks in the apartment to clarify the circumstances of the case. At this stage, the background to the incident is still unknown.
