A rapid rise: Ofer Winter has overtaken Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman in the race for prime minister, according to the latest forecast by bettors on the prediction platform Polymarket. The forecast comes just two days after Winter launched his new party, "Amha Yisrael."
According to the latest data on Polymarket regarding the question "Who will be the next prime minister of Israel after the elections," the former commander of the 98th Division is leading the Minister of Finance by a tenth of a percent, with 4.1% compared to 4% respectively. In initial polls conducted since the party's launch, Winter remains a mystery, as some polls show him easily passing the electoral threshold, while others place him below it.
At the top of the table, there is no change from the recent period. The chairman of the "Yashar!" party, Gadi Eizenkot, continues to be the leading candidate according to bettors on the platform with 53%. Prime Minister and Likud chairman Benjamin Netanyahu is far behind with 28%, and in third place is "Beyachad" chairman Naftali Bennett with 8%.
