Mourning in the business world: Passing of Arie Bronstein

Mourning in the Israeli business and hospitality sectors. The Fattal hotel group has published an official notice regarding the passing of Arie Bronstein (of blessed memory), the father of the Chairman of the Board, Yuval Bronstein. In a statement released on their behalf, the Board of Directors, management, and employees of the Fattal hotel group expressed their deep condolences to Yuval Bronstein and his family, offering their support during this difficult time.

Yuval Bronstein is considered one of the most respected figures in Israel's public and business sectors. He began his professional career at the Ministry of Finance, where he served for approximately 12 years in various senior managerial positions. Notably, Bronstein served as Deputy Accountant General, a central role in which he helped manage the country's economic system and formulate public sector financial policy.

Following his tenure at the Ministry of Finance, Bronstein transitioned to the business sector, joining the Azrieli Group, where he worked for another 12 years. Initially appointed as CFO, he was later promoted to CEO of Israel's largest income-producing real estate group. He served as CEO for five years, from 2013 to 2017, leading the group through a period of significant expansion in the real estate and retail markets.

Since stepping down as CEO of the Azrieli Group in 2017, Bronstein has continued to hold several key positions in the economy. Alongside his role as Chairman of the Board of Fattal Holdings, he serves as a chairman and director for various other companies. Beyond his business activities, Bronstein is a prominent figure in the academic and public spheres, currently serving as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
