Footage circulated on social media this Saturday shows a violent brawl at Manila Airport in the Philippines, during which a man is seen being beaten in front of passengers and passersby. According to claims published alongside the video, the confrontation began after the man shouted antisemitic slurs at the scene; however, at this stage, it is impossible to verify exactly what triggered the outbreak of violence.

The video was published, among others, on the X account of activist Hen Mazig. The footage shows a heated confrontation between several people in the airport terminal, which eventually turns physical. While the version accompanying the video on social media suggests that antisemitic slurs were heard before the physical altercation, the footage does not provide a full picture of the moments preceding the brawl, nor is the exact sequence of events clear.

In his original post, Mazig wrote:

"An Israeli man and an American man got into a fight at an airport in Manila. The Israeli man claims that the American called him a baby killer and said: 'It's a pity Hitler didn't finish the job.' As long as antisemitism continues to be accepted under the false label of anti-Zionism, we will continue to see more stories like this."
