How the Likud campaign is being ruined – precisely from within the Prime Minister's office

Another resounding failure in public relations by the Prime Minister's advisors. Associates of Benjamin Netanyahu reported that the Prime Minister, during a "closed discussion," described the law on freezing arrests as a failure and stated that it would not be part of the next government. The question arises: what were you thinking beforehand? When it was clear to everyone that the law would be immediately disqualified and no real benefit would come from it?

"We need to repel this false propaganda. This law does not cause any harm! We want recruits. We do not want detainees. The moment this threat exists, everything stops, only hatred and division are sown. Whoever does not study — we need to apply the full weight of the law to him. Take Torah students? They did that in Russia and we shouted about it!"

That is an exact quote.

Wait, so now the law just causes harm? If the purpose of the law was only declarative, why disavow it in retrospect? And why bring back an issue that had already died down to the center of the media agenda? This is a recurring pattern: shooting from the hip and U-turns in retrospect. It seems someone insists on ruining Benjamin Netanyahu's campaign. The business is not being managed, and it is felt. Maybe they like stinking fish there, but the expulsion from the city will be at the expense of the entire right-wing bloc.
