POLITICS // ASSEMBLY WIRE

A recent poll broadcast by Channel 14 reveals that 95% of Israeli respondents have already decided how they will vote in the upcoming Knesset elections, leaving only 5% undecided. This unusually high certainty comes amid shifting political dynamics, a decline in support for the two largest parties, and the emergence of new parliamentary contenders.

Mandate Distribution and Bloc Shifts

According to the poll, the ruling Likud party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains the largest faction with 29 mandates, though down two seats from the previous survey. The Yashar! party, headed by Gadi Eisenkot, also saw a decline, dropping from 23 to 20 mandates. Meanwhile, Shas maintained its strength with 10 mandates, and The Democrats gained one seat to reach 10.

United Torah Judaism held steady at 8 mandates. The Religious Zionism faction rose to 7 mandates, whereas Otzma Yehudit and the Be-Yachad joint list each dropped to 7 seats. Yisrael Beytenu and Ra'am secured 5 mandates each. Notably, the Miluimnikim-Kalkalit party crossed the electoral threshold for the first time with 4 mandates.

"95% of respondents declared they have already decided their vote, while only 5% remain undecided," according to the Channel 14 survey data.

Suitability for Premiership

When polled on suitability for the premiership, Benjamin Netanyahu led with 53% support, marking a one-point increase. Gadi Eisenkot experienced a significant drop, falling from 34% to 29%, while Naftali Bennett rose slightly to 11% and Avigdor Lieberman climbed to 7%. Head-to-head figures between Netanyahu and Eisenkot remained unchanged at 52% and 48% respectively.
