Leadership transition at Amanet: New CEO appointed amid financial results
After three and a half years at the helm, Amanet Group CEO Shmuel Alfasi is stepping down. He will be succeeded by Lior Levy Gilor, a veteran of the group who previously led its technology division.

The Amanet Management and Systems group presented its financial reports for the first half of 2026, indicating growth in revenues. Alongside the publication of the results, the company announced a significant change in its management: Lior Levy Gilor, a veteran of the group who served as CEO of the technology division, will take over as CEO of the group, replacing Shmuel Alfasi, who is ending a three-and-a-half-year tenure.
The group's revenues recorded an increase of approximately 4% and totaled about 175 million shekels compared to the corresponding period last year. However, the profit from operations fell to 2.5 million shekels, and the net profit attributable to shareholders stood at about 2 million shekels. The company's coffers hold cash and investments totaling 42.8 million shekels, and the order backlog continued to grow and stands at about 563 million shekels. Following the publication of the report, Amanet announced a dividend distribution of 2 million shekels to shareholders.
The company's main growth engine remains the computing and software sector, which accounted for about 68% of total revenues and generated a profit of 4.3 million shekels. This is thanks to the expansion of activity in the defense and financial industries. At the same time, the consulting and logistics sector, while showing growth in revenues, shifted to a loss of 1.75 million shekels due to investments in the fields of robotics, a transition year in mental health tenders, and expenses related to deals that did not materialize.
The incoming CEO, Lior Levy Gilor, stated that the group will focus on further deepening activity in the defense sector, integrating AI and robotics technologies, and searching for new growth engines to improve overall profitability. The outgoing CEO, Shmuel Alfasi, took pride in a 93% increase in cumulative operating profit during his tenure and expressed confidence in the company's future path.
