A day after it was revealed in Calcalist that Katzman, the current controlling shareholder of the income-producing real estate company G City, was furious at the decision of Tzahi Abu, the controlling shareholder of Ari Nadlan, to include the real estate company Tanaport-Ishpro of Kidan Dahari and Yaron Adiv in the deal, associates of the three future buyers are launching a sharp counterattack.
In a conversation with Calcalist, they accuse Katzman of trying to torpedo the deal, criticize a series of moves he has made since its signing, and hint that if the deal is completed, they may act against some of his decisions at the upcoming shareholders' meeting.
"Katzman can be as angry as he wants. He probably wants to fight and torpedo the deal. From the day the deal was signed, he has been making strange moves, such as raising bonds unnecessarily, especially when the company has already declared a capital raise of 1 billion shekels as part of the deal. In addition, he decided to distribute golden parachutes an hour before he leaves, without the buyers' consent. If the deal goes through, all of these will certainly be taken into account at the shareholders' meeting to be held in September," said associates of Abu, Dahari, and Adiv.
According to them, "with them, those who succeed get gold medals, and losers do not get golden parachutes." They further added that "Abu already has all the money needed for the deal in his current account. But if Katzman's behavior continues, he will look for other things to do."
