Bus Driver Suspended After Watching TikTok While Driving From Bnei Brak
An Electra Afikim bus driver on line 350 was suspended after passengers filmed him watching TikTok videos while driving from Bnei Brak to Ashdod and yelling at them.
An Electra Afikim bus driver operating line 350 was suspended from work on Monday after footage emerged of him watching TikTok videos while driving.
The incident occurred as the bus traveled from Bnei Brak to Ashdod. Shocked passengers noticed the driver handling his mobile phone and watching social media clips behind the wheel. When passengers approached to see what was happening, they discovered he was absorbed in TikTok videos while actively operating the vehicle.
Terrified passengers pleaded with the driver to stop endangering their lives, but he ignored their appeals and shouted at them instead. One passenger recounted that despite their requests, the driver yelled at them and chose to continue watching the videos.
Electra Afikim issued a response stating that the company views the driver's conduct with utmost severity. Upon receiving the information, the driver was immediately removed from his shift and barred from performing any further trips for the company.
