New Movieland Cinema to Open in Bat Yam After 12-Year Absence
A new Movieland cinema complex is opening in Bat Yam's BIG FASHION mall on September 24, ending a 12-year cinema absence. The launch will honor IDF reservists with free screenings.
Residents of Bat Yam will once again be able to enjoy a local cinema experience starting September 24, with the opening of the new Movieland complex on the second floor of the BIG FASHION mall. This move marks the return of cinema to the city after a 12-year absence, coinciding with the centenary celebrations of Bat Yam's founding.
The festive launch event will be entirely dedicated to IDF reservists and their families, who will enjoy exclusive premiere screenings throughout the day and evening as a token of appreciation for their service.
The new complex features four screening halls, including two upgraded halls equipped with premium sofas and armchairs, a dedicated children's hall, and an area designed for private events and conferences.
