Baruch Marzel on Ben Gvir: 'We protested together against the "parade of beasts" - and he supports Ohana'

Veteran right-wing activist Baruch Marzel, identified with the Kahanist movement, published a post on Tuesday on X, criticizing Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir for his call to support Amir Ohana ahead of the Likud primaries held the previous night.

In the post, Marzel shared a video of Ben Gvir encouraging Likud members to vote for the Knesset Speaker, calling him 'a friend and a dear person who brings pride to the people of Israel.' In response, the right-wing activist wrote:

'It is amazing to see how Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who organized the "parades of beasts" and the demonstrations against the "parades of abomination" with me, found himself supporting and strengthening Amir Ohana.'

Marzel further commented:

'Add to that his agreement to cooperate with RAAM and the Islamic Movement, and you get a clear picture of the way in which Ben Gvir has strayed from the path. The question is only where this path will take him next.'

Marzel is a veteran right-wing activist associated with the Kahanist movement. In his youth, he was close to Rabbi Meir Kahane and was a central figure in the 'Kach' movement, which was outlawed in Israel and declared a terrorist organization following the 1994 Cave of the Patriarchs massacre. In official documents from the Central Elections Committee, Marzel was identified as an active participant and one of the movement's leaders.
