Police Investigate Wedding Shooting in Baqa al-Gharbiya Amid Wave of Violence

Police in Baqa al-Gharbiya launched an investigation into a shooting and robbery incident that took place Saturday evening at a wedding in a local events hall. Authorities reported no casualties, and extensive searches are underway to locate the suspects.
This incident follows a series of violent events in the Arab sector. Last week, three young men—brothers Yazen (16) and Qasem Odeh (20), along with their cousin Yahya Basmiya (22) from Jaljulia—were found dead in a burned vehicle near Baqa al-Gharbiya. Police believe the motive is criminal.
Meanwhile, violent incidents continue across various localities. A 14-year-old boy was seriously wounded in a shooting in Kafr Kanna in the Lower Galilee and evacuated to the English Hospital in Nazareth. In another incident, a 16-year-old boy was critically injured in Jaljulia and transported to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba by Magen David Adom paramedics.
