Ayala Hasson: "The terrorist's release was no accident, they knew what they were doing"

Journalist Ayala Hasson has launched a sharp attack against the legal system, criticizing the conduct of the State Attorney's Office and the Military Advocate General against the backdrop of reports that the Attorney General might offer the Military Advocate General a plea bargain.

In a conversation with Eli Zipori on Galey Israel, Hasson addressed the evidence and the release of the terrorist back to the Gaza Strip, questioning the basis for the initial claims:

"On what basis did they say that you can see a rape in this video? Why did they smuggle this despicable terrorist back to Gaza?"

Hasson argued that the release of the terrorist prevented the truth from being revealed in court:

"After all, in his testimony, he asked, 'What will it give me if I incriminate them?' He would have collapsed within 20 seconds on the interrogation stand. Do you think such a terrorist was returned to Gaza by mistake? They knew what they were doing."

In her remarks, Hasson revealed additional details about the terrorist's conduct while in custody and raised serious questions regarding the drafting of the indictment:

"This terrorist refused to be checked; he arrived defined as 'high risk' and called in Arabic for the entire compound to attack the guards," noted Hasson.

She concluded her remarks by criticizing the omission of central details from the official indictment: "Why was it not even written in the indictment that he encouraged all the dozens of terrorists present to attack?"
