AY Solar, a company specializing in the development and implementation of technological solutions to increase electricity yield in solar systems, has announced the appointment of Meirav Itzhaki as its new Chief Executive Officer. AY Solar is controlled by Blade Ranger, led by Shmulik Yanai.

Itzhaki steps into the CEO role after serving for the past eight months as the company's Vice President of Business Development and Deputy CEO. During this period, she led significant growth initiatives, including establishing the sales department, formulating a new marketing strategy, and spearheading strategic collaborations with energy companies and leading entities in the market.

This appointment is part of AY Solar's strategic plan to expand its operations in the coming years. The company focuses on improving the performance of solar systems to maximize electricity generation over time, aiming to solidify its position in the Israeli market while developing its presence in international markets.

Shmulik Yanai, the controlling shareholder of Blade Ranger, welcomed the appointment:

"Over the past few months, Meirav has demonstrated an exceptional ability to drive processes, build business operations, and generate significant collaborations with key players in the market. She brings a combination of managerial experience, business vision, and the ability to turn strategy into results. Her appointment as CEO is a natural step in the evolution of AY Solar, and I am confident she will lead the company to significant growth in Israel and the development of its operations in international markets."

Itzhaki brings over 20 years of extensive experience in senior management, business development, marketing, and sales. She was previously one of the founders of the Calcalist financial newspaper, where she served as VP of Business Development for 13 years and was a partner in building the brand. Following that, she served as the CEO of Shvoong. In her new role, she will lead the expansion of AY Solar's partnerships and develop new growth engines in Israel and globally.
