Avi Nimni is proud: His son has signed his first professional contract
One of the most successful former footballers in Israel accompanied his 19-year-old son to the signing of his first senior contract. Hapoel Kfar Shalem management decided to add the young striker to their roster following a series of impressive training sessions.
Avi Nimni is one of the most prominent, successful, and influential figures in the history of Israeli football. He is considered the undisputed icon and the greatest player of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the modern era.
His son, Amit Nimni, recently signed with Hapoel Kfar Shalem. Now 19, the young striker has secured his first senior contract. He brings a strong football background to the club, having graduated from the Shimshon Tel Aviv youth academy, where he scored 20 league goals and three State Cup goals last season.
He joined Hapoel Kfar Shalem following a series of training sessions where he impressed the coaching staff. The club decided to officially add him to their roster, believing he will be a valuable asset for the upcoming National League season.
Amit Nimni attended the signing ceremony with his father, football legend Avi Nimni. Unlike his father’s iconic number 8, the younger Nimni will wear the number 7 jersey. The team will be led this season by coach Noam Shoham.
