Delek Motors, the importer of Ford vehicles in Israel, has announced a recall for 1,405 Ford vehicles of the models listed above. The recall is intended to address concerns regarding a discrepancy between actual fuel consumption data and the official figures published for these vehicles.

As part of the recall, a software update will be performed on the engine control unit in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Delek Motors stated that the estimated duration of the work is approximately one hour. Written notices will be sent via Israel Post to all relevant vehicle owners as the necessary updates become available.

To check if a specific license plate is included in the recall, owners can visit the official Ford website or contact the company's customer service center. Repairs will be performed free of charge at authorized Ford service centers under Delek Motors.

A list of service centers can be obtained by contacting the customer service department. It is necessary to schedule an appointment in advance. According to regulation 306 (a) of the Traffic Regulations, if a vehicle owner does not complete the recall within 6 months, the Ministry of Transport will not renew the vehicle license, and under regulation 306 (c), the owner will be unable to transfer ownership of the vehicle.
