Yair Golan addressed the recent strike in Syria and criticized the military move. According to him, it is a "provocative and dangerous move" which he claims could bring Israel closer to a confrontation with Turkey and deepen tensions with allies, primarily the USA.

During a discussion in the "Patriots" studio, panelist Yotam Zamri reacted sharply to the remarks and attacked Golan for what he described as inconsistency in his positions. "This is a person who until a moment ago claimed that we are a puppet of the USA, that we are vassals, a protectorate state," said Zamri.

Later, Zamri added: "What does he want? It's unbelievable," referring to Golan's criticism of the strike in Syria and the government's policy in the region.

The Likud party also attacked the chairman of the Democrats, Yair Golan, sharply this evening (Wednesday) following his remarks against the Israeli strike in Syria. In the party's statement, it was claimed that Golan opposes activity aimed at preventing Turkish military entrenchment in Syrian territory. "It is not surprising that Yair Golan, who calls for the establishment of a Palestinian terrorist state in the heart of Israel, is willing to allow Turkish military entrenchment in Syria, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is firmly pushing back against," the Likud stated.
