After Eyal Golan and Sarit Hadad: Mizrahi Tefahot Bank issues an unusual warning
After malicious actors impersonated Eyal Golan and Sarit Hadad to steal credit card details, they are now targeting bank customers. Which financial brand was forced to intervene?

This month, fake advertisements circulated on social media offering tickets to concerts by singers Eyal Golan and Sarit Hadad, allegedly held in partnership with Mizrahi Tefahot Bank and Bank Leumi. In reality, these were malicious actors impersonating Liam Productions, the company owned by the artists. Many individuals fell for the trap, entering their credit card details and personal information on fraudulent websites.
Eyal Golan previously issued a statement claiming these were impostors and has filed an official complaint while pursuing legal action to locate those responsible. Liam Productions stated:
"These are false, misleading, and offensive messages, formulated with the aim of harming the reputation and activities of Liam Productions and Eyal Golan. It should be clarified unequivocally that these messages were not sent on our behalf, do not reflect our position, and have no connection to us."
Despite this, the ticket scam continues. Following the fraud, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank began sending alerts to all its customers:
"Recently, we have identified attempts by parties impersonating the bank to steal personal details. We at Mizrahi Tefahot will never ask you to provide personal information on social media. If you receive a suspicious message, please contact our call center."
