After hours of searching: 50-year-old man found lifeless on a beach in Ashkelon

Large MADA forces, equipped with 4X4 ATVs, conducted extensive searches for a man in his 50s who had been missing since early evening near the National Park beach. Near midnight, the man was located unconscious, and medical teams were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene.

A man in his 50s was found tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday) lifeless near the National Park beach in Ashkelon, following an extensive search operation that lasted several hours.

The initial report regarding his disappearance was received at 19:30. Upon receiving the call, numerous rescue forces were dispatched to the scene, utilizing special vehicles including a 4X4 ATV to search in complex areas inaccessible to regular vehicles. Near midnight, the man was located unconscious, and after medical examinations, the medics and paramedics were forced to pronounce his death at the scene.

MADA paramedics Israel Lugasi and Eliyahu Shukrun said:

"In the early evening, we were called to an incident of a man who went missing near the National Park beach in Ashkelon. We dispatched many forces to assist in the search efforts, with the help of special MADA vehicles including a 4X4 ATV for searching in areas inaccessible to vehicles. Near midnight, a man in his 50s was located unconscious. We performed comprehensive medical checks, but unfortunately, he was lifeless and we were forced to pronounce his death."
