The battle between credit card clubs in the aviation sector dominated commercial breaks this summer, featuring two main players: Fly Card, belonging to the El Al Frequent Flyer program (with Isracard), and FlyAway, the new card from CAL in collaboration with Issta. A third player, SkyMAX from the MAX company, also stood out.

Initially, the division was clear: Fly Card was handled by the Peach agency (Gitam), FlyAway by Munch, and SkyMAX (along with Max Travel) by McCann Tel Aviv.

However, a new Fly Card advertisement recently appeared without an agency credit. It was handled by McCann Tel Aviv, the agency for El Al. Consequently, McCann is now working with two competitors who are vying for the same market share.

El Al stated that they work with several agencies and are considering consolidating activities, but declined to comment on McCann working with a competitor. MAX and Peach also declined to comment.

McCann Tel Aviv responded: "McCann provides services to many brands in accordance with strict procedures for separating teams, information, and work processes, as is customary in the industry. Each client enjoys a dedicated and independent team, and the competition between the brands on screen testifies to our commitment to the success of each."
