An Israeli OnlyFans creator, 29-year-old Adva Lavi, is set to stand trial in Los Angeles on multiple charges of burglary and grand theft after a court determined she is mentally competent to face prosecution, the Los Angeles Times reported. Lavi, who is accused of exploiting romantic relationships with affluent men to steal property and cash, denies the allegations. Concurrently, it has been revealed that she is under a separate investigation for allegedly drugging her former fiancé, American billionaire Steve Clobes, using ketamine.

According to the report, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Maria Cavallucci announced that a court-appointed psychiatrist concluded Lavi is mentally fit for trial. Consequently, legal proceedings will resume in the Van Nuys courthouse following a delay of over a month. Lavi's defense attorneys, who previously argued that her psychological state precluded her from handling criminal proceedings, accepted the updated evaluation.

Charges and Alleged Modus Operandi

Lavi, also known by aliases including Maya Ventura, Shoshana, and Shana, faces two counts of grand theft and two counts of first-degree residential burglary. According to prosecution documents, the alleged offenses occurred between 2023 and 2025 across various locations in Los Angeles County, including Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Westlake Village.

Prosecutors claim Lavi utilized dating applications and social media platforms to forge connections with older, wealthy men, posing as a romantic partner before pilfering belongings from their homes once trust was established. Several young women were also reportedly among the alleged victims. Lavi has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has not yet been convicted of the offenses for which she is standing trial.

The Ketamine Investigation and Additional Claims

The case escalated further following details unearthed in a search warrant obtained by the Los Angeles Times. The document indicates that the Los Angeles Police Department is independently investigating suspicions that Lavi administered ketamine to her ex-fiancé, 64-year-old businessman and billionaire Steve Clobes, a prominent figure in U.S. Democratic Party political circles who previously ran for governor of California.

"The investigation involves separate serious allegations regarding the administration of controlled substances, running parallel to the active grand theft and burglary prosecutions." — Court Documents

Additional allegations surfaced regarding an incident at the Coachella music festival last year. According to the Indio Police Department, Lavi allegedly stole an $8,600 Rolex watch, $700 Louis Vuitton sunglasses, a matching cardholder, and nearly $2,000 in cash, subsequently departing in the victim's Cybertruck vehicle. As legal proceedings resume, both the primary trial and the secondary investigations continue to draw intense public scrutiny.
