According to the suspicion, the young man repeatedly climbed on tables and chairs despite the security guards' requests to get down. After being removed from the club, he threw a chair at one of the security guards, injured him, and fled. YASAM officers who were in the area arrested him shortly thereafter, and today the police will request to extend his detention.

A night out at one of the clubs in the tourist area of Eilat ended in an arrest after a young man allegedly went on a rampage at the venue, attacked a security guard, and fled.
The incident occurred yesterday early in the morning, around 4:00 AM. YASAM (Special Patrol Unit) officers of the Eilat district, who were on operational duty in the city's tourist center, noticed a crowd of people leaving the club area towards the main road.
From an initial investigation conducted by the police, it emerged that shortly before, the suspect had repeatedly climbed onto tables and chairs inside one of the clubs, despite the security guards asking him to get down. After being removed from the premises, he allegedly took a chair from a nearby business and threw it at one of the security guards.
As a result of the chair being thrown, the security guard was lightly injured. The suspect fled the scene, but YASAM officers located him shortly thereafter and arrested him. He was transferred for questioning at the police station, and at its conclusion, he was detained.
Today, the suspect will be brought to the Magistrate's Court in Eilat, where the police will request to extend his detention as part of the ongoing investigation.
