Heather Graham shared photos from a vacation in Positano with her partner Michele Civetta. Between the sea and the romance, she explains why health is now her top priority over her career.
Heather Graham, 56, uploaded an album yesterday, August 16, to Instagram from a vacation in Positano, Italy, with her partner, director Michele Civetta.
"I love Positano and pasta nerano. And Michele Civetta," Graham wrote alongside the photos. In the album, she appears in several swimsuits, including a polka-dot bikini and a royal blue set. In one frame, she is swimming in black sunglasses, and in another, she stands on the beach with a wide-brimmed straw hat — by celebrity standards in August, it is a vacation that delivers the goods.
"If there is no health, there is nothing"
Graham has shared in recent times that health has become her biggest priority as she has aged. In an interview with Us Weekly, she placed it even before her Hollywood career.
"Career is important, but if you don't have health, you don't have anything. I am lucky that I am alive and healthy. It is in first place, above career and above everything else."
In an interview with Retreat Magazine, Graham shared that she adheres to a healthy diet, physical activity, yoga, and meditation, and avoids alcohol and drugs. She also spoke about the importance she places on sleep, telling Us Weekly that she can sleep for 10 or even 11 hours.
"What is most important is how you feel on the inside," she told Retreat Magazine. "This is the best time of my life."
Changing relationships with food
Graham told Us Weekly that in the past she had eating habits that she defines today as unhealthy, including skipping meals in favor of sweets or ice cream. Separately, in a 2013 interview with Refinery29, she mentioned that she tries to avoid white flour and sugar.
"I'm not saying I'm always happy," she told Us Weekly. "I feel like I've figured out how to enjoy life more as I get older."
Heather Graham joins "The White Lotus"
Graham was cast in the fourth season of "The White Lotus," which began filming in April 2026. According to Variety, other names in the cast include Laura Dern, Sandra Bernhard, and Rosie Perez.
