27 minutes of GTA 6: The longest look to date lands on Netflix
Gaming giant Rockstar has released 27 minutes of new gameplay from GTA 6 on Netflix, the longest look yet at one of the most anticipated games in history, following a wave of leaks that shook the industry last week.

12 years. That is more or less the amount of time the gaming community worldwide, and quite a few in Israel, has been waiting for exactly this moment. Tonight (Israel time) it arrived: Rockstar released 27 minutes of new gameplay from GTA 6, the longest look to date at one of the most anticipated games of the decade, through a surprising collaboration with Netflix.
The video, "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look", was filmed entirely within the game on the PS5 version and shows for the first time continuous gameplay segments and plot scenes, rather than second-long teasers. Until now, we had received a total of two short trailers over three years, so for fans, this is a real step up.
The plot and pricing
At the center of the plot are two heroes, Jason and Lucia, a couple caught in the heart of a criminal conspiracy in the fictional state of Leonida, Rockstar's version of Florida, with locations that resemble the beloved Vice City. The game will be released officially on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, initially as a single-player experience only.
For those wondering how much this will cost us here, there is a less happy answer. As we reported, Israel is one of the most expensive places in the world to purchase the game: 319 shekels for the base version and 399 shekels for the Ultimate version, well above the price in the USA.
A difficult backdrop
This festive launch comes against a slightly less glamorous background. In the past week, Rockstar suffered a widespread wave of leaks of gameplay segments that were distributed online before the official reveal. The company, which filed legal orders last week to locate the source of the leaks, released a rare statement:
"This is heartbreaking for the team. This is definitely not the way we planned to reveal the game after years of work."
