Disturbing footage from Arad sparked a storm after a Haredi man was seen vandalizing photos of women on billboards. Following the incident, a complaint was filed with the police. Mayor Yair Maayan: "We will not allow anyone to harm the public space and try to exclude women from the public space."

Yair Maayan appealed to the police commander with a demand to deal with cases of stone-throwing and spitting at young women. The mayor called on residents to film and file complaints, emphasizing that only arrests will eradicate the phenomenon. "We will not accept the actions of extremist criminals in any way," he declared.
