Following the deaths of 74 pedestrians this year, Kfar Saba has installed a smart solar-powered system at a major intersection that detects pedestrians and activates high-intensity lighting to alert drivers.

Following a successful pilot in Kfar Shmaryahu, the smart system that reduces waiting times by tens of percent is expanding to other central intersections in the Sharon region and promises to completely change the driving experience for thousands of drivers.
