A close associate of Benjamin Netanyahu called for giving the US Vice President a "warm welcome". Ron Dermer revealed that J.D. Vance played a critical role in the war against Iran. Regarding Gaza, he stated: "We will not allow Hamas to remain there," and described the Iranian regime as being "on its way to the dustbin of history."

120 family members of hostages and soldiers have spoken out against the IAC organization's decision to feature Ron Dermer as the keynote speaker at three events next month, claiming he was one of the most influential voices opposing several hostage deals: "The decision is dismissive and disrespectful to families who paid a direct price for these decisions."

The Prime Minister has not given up on attempts to convince the former Minister of Strategic Affairs to return to the political arena. For now, the assessment is that the chances of the move being feasible are slim - despite their close relationship, as only last week Dermer took part in the preparatory meetings held by the PM's team ahead of the meeting with Trump.
