Pursuit

An unusual incident occurred today in Beit Shemesh, after a police attempt to stop a driver suspected of driving under the influence of drugs developed into a pursuit and ended in gunfire. During the arrest attempt, the suspect hit two police officers, and law enforcement opened fire on his vehicle.

Two brothers from Ashdod were arrested on suspicion of transporting and employing illegal aliens, after a pursuit of one of them ended in an arrest in the Southern District. According to the police, the suspect attempted to run over a police officer during the check, and three illegal aliens were arrested as part of the operation.
