After Kenya's independence, the leaders of the Mau Mau became symbols of the new state. Jomo Kenyatta, who was imprisoned by the British and presented as a dangerous terrorist, became the first prime minister and later the president of the country.

Netanyahu lost support among some coalition voters, the Chief of Staff lost the ability to enforce the conscription law, and the Supreme Court and Knesset face further delegitimization. Almost all of us are losing, perhaps with the exception of Gadi Eisenkot, who is positioning himself as Netanyahu's successor.
