Veteran news anchor Dalia Mazor was unmasked as the Crane on "The Masked Singer," surprising judges and viewers with her rendition of a Britney Spears hit.

Veteran news anchor Dalia Mazor was unmasked as the Crane on Israel's popular reality singing competition "The Masked Singer". After decades as one of the most recognizable faces on Israeli television, Mazor delivered a surprising cover of Britney Spears' hit "Crazy" while hidden inside an origami crane costume, completely baffling the show's celebrity panel.
Surprising the Panel
Throughout the episode, the panel struggled to identify the voice behind the mask, tossing out prominent names such as Orna Banai, Dana International, and Einav Galihi. However, the studio audience ultimately decided the Crane's fate, leading to her elimination and the subsequent revelation of her true identity.
Once the mask came off, the intricate web of clues finally clicked into place. Hints regarding an early morning routine referenced Mazor's extensive career hosting morning broadcasts, including "Good Morning Israel" on the First Channel and a stint hosting Keshet's morning show in 2012. Another clue referencing a place that exists "only in Israel" nodded to her recurring segment alongside Erez Tal and Israel Katorza.
A Decorated Career Revealed
Additional clues pointed to her past as a fashion model and her current role as a brand ambassador for beauty entrepreneur Ronit Raphael. Reflecting on the demanding physical experience after her elimination, Mazor admitted in an interview with Channel 12 that she felt an immense sense of relief, noting that the elaborate performance was exceptionally challenging and physically grueling for her age.
