Peace Agreement

Censorship has allowed the publication of reports that regional discussions included the possibility of a tactical peace agreement with Israel, which could be violated at a later date.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara stated that Damascus does not intend to intervene militarily in Lebanon and is working toward a security agreement with Israel.
