Jovel's husband, Paul, was murdered in a kibbutz in the Gaza envelope alongside Evyatar Kipnis, whom he cared for as a caregiver. Jovel was initially forbidden from attending his son's wedding with her toddler, but the Population and Immigration Authority has now agreed to allow them to visit the country on the condition of depositing a 100,000 shekel bond for each, with a pre-set departure date.
