Media outlets in the Islamic Republic reported that Mohsen Rezaee, advisor to the Supreme Leader, has been appointed Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council. He is one of the Iranian generals who believe that maintaining a grip on the Strait of Hormuz is essential.
