23 kindergartens in northern border communities will open this year even though the number of children in them is below the standard. About 11 million shekels will be allocated for the decision, which is intended to encourage families to return and join the communities. In Margaliot, the number of children has already doubled, and ten new families have joined in Zarit.

The high-tech community's consumer club is partnering with "Pashut Gan" to establish kindergartens for children aged 0-3 at or near workplaces. The companies hope that employers will allocate portions of their welfare and catering budgets to help cover the monthly cost of approximately 6,000 NIS.
