Kerem Shalom

Three years after the October 7 massacre, nine families have chosen to relocate to Kerem Shalom, the kibbutz closest to the Gaza border, embracing a message of national renewal, Zionist mission, and coexistence.

Gaza envelope residents expressed outrage after trucks carrying infrastructure pipes crossed into Gaza at Kerem Shalom, warning that the aid and reconstruction efforts only strengthen Hamas.

Dozens of protesters, including residents of the Gaza envelope, demonstrated at the Kerem Shalom crossing also against the entry of international forces into the Strip and the start of its rehabilitation before Hamas is disarmed: "There is no chance that Hamas will continue to rule Gaza." Gilad Erdan asked to speak - and was refused.

Activists demonstrated demanding an end to security threats and the prevention of Hamas's buildup. During his speech, Gilad Erdan was confronted by participants who accused him of using the event for political purposes.

Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman arrived at the Kerem Shalom crossing and declared: "We are in a complete return to the same conception and containment." Accompanied by party members, the former defense minister claimed: "Israel currently cannot move a pin without coordinating it with the USA."
