Brigadier General Efi Defrin revealed that he has been dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder following his military service, and the consequences it had: "You are driving in the summer and suddenly there is a flash of sun that freezes you for a second. You feel that you are in a tank now, they are shooting at you, and you are in the middle of Tel Aviv on a beach."

Brigadier General Efi Defrin has ordered the suspension of all non-official IDF digital accounts, limiting activity to major command and branch channels. The move aims to maintain institutional uniformity during the upcoming Knesset election period.
