A new commercial center has opened to the public in Or Yehuda, expanding the operations of Rani Zim Shopping Centers in central Israel. Zim Urban Ono Valley, located at 5 Hacarmel Street, is an open-air shopping complex spanning approximately 17,500 square meters gross. It features two commercial floors housing around 80 shops, restaurants, and businesses.

The complex serves residents of Or Yehuda and neighboring communities in the Ono Valley, including Kiryat Ono, Yehud-Monoson, Ganei Tikva, and Savyon, as well as eastern Ramat Gan. According to the company, the center combines businesses in food, retail, fashion, lifestyle, and services, with final tenant occupancy currently underway.

Openings and Brands

Businesses that have already opened their doors include HaSalon HaYoani, Super Tal, Roladin, Be Pharm, Nono Noodles, Be Fresh, Twenty Six, Noy HaSade, Soltam, Ivory, and HaStok. A Toys "R" Us branch is scheduled to join the complex next week.

The grand opening took place during a festive event featuring street performances, live music, photo booths, and activities along the promenade. The event drew numerous visitors, marking the official milestone for the new center.

Business Background and Expansion

"The opening of Zim Urban Ono Valley marks a significant step in expanding our presence and delivering a top-tier retail experience to the region," company representatives noted.

The center's launch follows a business transaction in which Rani Zim Shopping Centers acquired Geshem's 29.99% stake in the project for approximately 105 million NIS. The deal valued the complex at roughly 330 million NIS, giving the company full ownership. The occupancy permit was received in December 2025.

Zim Urban Ono Valley joins other centers nationwide, including two "Seven" brand centers launched over the past year in Tamra and Rahat. Additional projects like Zim Urban Dead Sea and Zim Urban Kfar Saba are slated for completion later this year.
