The battle for iPhone 18 sales across supermarket aisles is heating up, as the Yochananoff retail chain announces a major expansion. On Monday morning, the company led by businessman Eitan Yochananoff announced an aggressive expansion strategy to sell Apple's flagship iPhone 18 Pro Max smartphone across dozens of branches nationwide.

Nationwide Expansion and Pricing

The decision to flood the branches with the in-demand device, priced at 5,250 shekels for the 256GB model, stems from unprecedented consumer demand. In an official post, the chain celebrated the shopping frenzy: "Did you hear that?! Due to your crazy demand, the iPhone 18 Pro Max stocks are back in a big way!" To leverage this success, the chain announced a wide national rollout, adding numerous branches to save customers the trip.

"Due to your crazy demand, the iPhone 18 Pro Max stocks are back in a big way! And not only has the stock been renewed, but more branches have been added for you so you don't have to travel far."

Broad Branch Coverage

The full branch list released by Yochananoff covers nearly every region in the country. In the north and Sharon regions, the device will be sold in Kiryat Shmona, Hutzot HaMifratz in Haifa, Hadera Mix, Hadera Village, Netanya Tsoran, Kfar Saba, and Ramat HaSharon. In the central region, Bekaa Ono, and Modiin, participating branches include Holon HaMerkava, Bat Yam, Rishon LeZion (Ramat Eliyahu), Or Yehuda Gadol, Modiin Ishpro, and Airport City. The Jerusalem area features stock in Jerusalem and Mishor Adumim, while the Shephelah and southern regions include Rehovot Centro, Ness Ziona, Gedera Big, Gan Yavne, Ashdod, and Ashkelon Barnea.

Grocery Store Smartphone Wars

As previously reported, the supermarket smartphone craze began when Osher Ad, Victory, and Shufersal started selling standard iPhone 18 models at special prices. However, Yochananoff currently maintains a unique market edge as the only chain offering the luxury Pro Max model, featuring international eSIM-only versions. Rami Levy Stock is also expected to join the fierce retail competition soon, ensuring the battle for the Israeli consumer's wallet is far from over.
