Yarden Shua in doubt: Beitar star sent for urgent medical tests
The team's star is suffering from severe abdominal pain and missed the final training session ahead of the second leg against AEK Larnaca. A decision on his participation will be made following a fitness test.

Yarden Shua's health has become the primary concern for Beitar Jerusalem ahead of the second leg against AEK Larnaca. According to a report by Sport 5, the team's star is "suffering from abdominal pain," missed the final training session, and has been sent for comprehensive medical tests to determine his fitness for the crucial game.
Beitar management is unwilling to take risks with one of their most significant players. Before kickoff, Shua will undergo a fitness test to assess whether he is capable of performing at the required physical level. Only then will a final decision be made regarding his inclusion in the squad for coach Almog Cohen.
Given that Shua has dealt with similar issues in recent years, the club has opted for extra caution. During practice, Jovansko Kalo filled his spot, while a midfield dilemma remains between Ziv Ben Shimol and Noam Muche, with the former holding a slight advantage.
Despite the lead secured in the first leg, the club insists the mission is far from complete. Almog Cohen has delivered a clear message to his players: ignore the previous result and approach the match with an attacking mindset. The coach emphasized the need for high pressure, intensity, and energy from the very first minute.
