Yaki Adamker: "Cherish your connection with your parents while they are alive"

During the program "The Patriots" on Channel 14, panelist Yaki Adamker moved viewers at home with a personal and touching message. Having arrived at the studio after visiting the cemetery to mark the anniversary of the passing of his mother, Miriam Hava bat Shmuel Dov (of blessed memory), Adamker used the platform to convey an important message to the audience.

"Always, while your parents are still alive—both mom and dad—take advantage of the connection as much as possible," Adamker said. He emphasized the importance of daily contact, even if it is just a short phone call: "Call to ask how things are, how you are doing. It is important, and when it is no longer there, you miss it so much and wonder why we didn't do it more often."

At the end of his remarks, Adamker asked the host, Yinon Magal, for permission to recite a blessing for the elevation of his mother's soul and invited the viewers to say amen. He blessed: "Blessed are You, Lord, our God, King of the universe, by Whose word everything came to be," adding that the blessing was intended for the soul of Miriam Hava bat Shmuel Dov, his mother and teacher.
