A social media post by Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has sparked a fierce political confrontation after drawing a sharp response from MK Ahmad Tibi.

In his post, Yair Netanyahu claimed that the recent election results highlighted what he described as a severe threat to Israel's survival, ranking it alongside Iran's nuclear program. He asserted that Arab citizens of Israel pose a greater danger than Palestinians in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, as well as Western antisemitism.

Netanyahu argued that a nation cannot endure when a significant portion of its population aligns with its adversaries. He drew parallels with France, claiming that Islam functions as a political ideology incompatible with non-Muslims, while adding that adherents of other major faiths coexist peacefully.

MK Ahmad Tibi swiftly rebuked the remarks, launching a scathing attack on the prime minister's son. "The idler from Miami has released yet another typical racist and antisemitic statement," Tibi wrote, contrasting the online rhetoric with the labor of Arab citizens working locally.

Tibi concluded by vowing to continue fighting for equality and cooperation, while looking ahead to potential future elections with increased political mobilization.
