Yael Shelbia in shock: Lance Stroll retires early at Dutch Grand Prix

A particularly frustrating weekend was experienced by Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll at the Dutch Grand Prix. The Canadian from the Aston Martin team, known in Israel as the partner of model and actress Yael Shelbia, was forced to retire from the race at an early stage following heavy damage caused to his car. According to reports from the scene, the mechanical failure significantly affected the grip and speed of Stroll's car and prevented him from continuing to compete.

In an interview with the official Formula 1 channel and according to an analysis published on GPblog, it turned out that it was not only the physical damage that decided the race. Stroll leveled direct and sharp criticism at the upgraded Honda power unit (RA626H) and called its behavior "a roulette."

"It's a roulette, the improvement is small and really not enough," the driver stated.

Stroll explained that the serious problems with control and engine braking, alongside a delay in downshifting, made it difficult for him to control the car. While Stroll struggled on the track, his teammate Fernando Alonso managed to finish in ninth place and proved that the chassis upgrades are working. However, Alonso admitted that the next stage requires solutions from Honda engineers at the factory in Japan ahead of Monza. Honda's chief engineer, Shintaro Urihara, confirmed that the gasoline engine lagged behind the competitors, and therefore changes were made to the pre-chamber, the shape of the pistons, and the lubrication system to improve combustion and reduce friction.

While the drama was unfolding on the track in Zandvoort, his partner Yael Shelbia chose to start the week far from the center and went on vacation to the "Mitzpe Dragot" tourist village in the Dead Sea area. Shelbia, who returned to Israel for the holiday campaign shoot of Renoir, shared in an interview with Asaf Golan on "HaYom" about the challenges of managing a relationship due to the intense schedule.
