Recent concerns regarding a potential renewed conflict with Iran have once again raised questions about Ben Gurion Airport and flight operations. For actress Yael Bar Zohar, the last few days have been particularly confusing. In an Instagram story posted on Sunday, she shared the tense night she spent in the shadow of attack rumors.
"Yesterday, in the middle of packing, all the updates started coming in and I already thought that was it, the vacation is gone. I really found myself stopping the packing, switching to continuous news updates, and it turned into a sleepless night," she wrote.
Later, she turned on the camera to share her feelings: "All my energy dropped. I stopped packing. All night I was getting up, imagining I heard planes. I kept checking for updates: will there be an attack or not? At some point, I had already accepted the possibility that the vacation wouldn't happen, and I told myself: okay, just give it up."
After a stormy night where, in the end, nothing happened, the family trip went ahead. Already wearing sunglasses and a hat at the airport, Bar Zohar shared her relief:
"I got up and saw that the threat had passed. It's so exciting to discover that Donald Trump is a friend, and he decided not to ruin our vacation," she added with amusement, posting a family photo from the airport.
