Yadin Gelman leaves Keshet 12: A coveted role on Reshet 13
The successful actor and partner of journalist Adva Dadon will star in the beloved comedy of Keshet 12's main competitor. He will join model Yael Shelbia.
Actor Yadin Gelman continues to strengthen his status in the local entertainment industry. After establishing his position on the Keshet 12 network, notably in the series "When the Waves Get Stronger" on V1, Gelman is making an intriguing move to the competing channel, Reshet 13. The 32-year-old actor has been cast in a guest role for the highly anticipated new season of the comedy "Haverot" (Friends).
This professional milestone comes at a busy and happy time in his personal life. Only a few weeks have passed since Gelman married his partner, Channel 12 news anchor Adva Dadon. The couple is raising their son, Yonatan Lavi, and Dadon's eldest daughter, Ilan, together. This comes alongside the inspiring rehabilitation process he has been undergoing since his severe injury during the battles in Be'eri on October 7.
In this new role, Gelman will join model Yael Shelbia, who has also been confirmed for the season, alongside the original cast including Lital Schwartz, Maggie Azarzar, Lirit Balaban, and Liron Weisman. Filming is set to begin this October, with the series scheduled to air in 2027.
