Channel 12 News journalist Adva Dadon and actor Yadin Gelman were married last Friday at the "Pherae" hotel in the Golan Heights. The celebration was held in an intimate format with family and close friends, following four years of relationship and the birth of their son.

The event took place against a backdrop of high security tension, with an unusual guest list that included commanders from Sayeret Matkal and various pilots.

In a conversation after the event with "Good Evening with Guy Pines," Gelman shared his feelings:

"I am still in euphoria from the celebrations, still trying to return to reality but I am still there. It was a fairy-tale wedding, beyond anything we could have imagined. In the audience were commanders from Sayeret Matkal, pilots, people who have already attacked in Iran and returned, and people whose missions remain classified. We felt that if we needed to know something, it would reach us in a hint, but in the end, everyone was there. On Saturday we realized we should know where the protected space is, and on Sunday morning we woke up calm."

The event was marked by a commitment to supporting the North and honoring heroism. The couple intentionally worked with local suppliers and business owners serving in the reserves. A moving moment occurred at the chuppah, which was held by Yadin's unit friends who rescued him after he was critically wounded in battle in Be'eri on October 7.

During the ceremony, conducted by Rabbi Shai Finkelstein, the fallen heroes were remembered: Second Lieutenant Yuval Heiman and Major David Meir. Blessings were given by two senior commanders from the unit who were also wounded during Yadin's rescue.

Accompanying the couple to the chuppah were their children: 6-year-old Ilan, Adva's daughter, and Yonatan Lavi, their shared son. They walked to the sounds of the song "Lev Lavan" ("White Heart") performed live by singer Shuli Rand. Dadon wore a minimalist dress designed by Alon Livne, later changing into a boho-romantic outfit.

Early concerns about security escalation quickly turned into practical task management. Gelman reflected on the preparation:

"We talked to the hotel about what to do if the situation escalated. There was no pressure, just practical planning: what happens if they attack? We said if they attack on Friday, there is nothing to do. Wow, we got off easy."
