New revelations by Yoav Horowitz, former Chief of Staff to Benjamin Netanyahu, regarding an alleged demand to have employees in the Prime Minister's Office sign a "loyalty form" to the family, are sparking stormy reactions in the political and media spheres.
In an interview with Channel 12 News, Horowitz described how, according to his claim, the directive that came from the residence was blocked. However, this exposure earned him a frontal attack from Channel 14 commentator Yaakov Bardugo, who accused him of betraying professional trust for political gain.
Yaakov Bardugo did not remain silent and came out sharply against the actions of Netanyahu's former confidant: "I have known him for many years, and I am even friends with him. I watched his interviews with disgust, and I was ashamed for him because of the humiliating performance he put on there in order to be accepted into the left-wing camp."
Later in his remarks, the commentator linked Horowitz's media appearance to his current political activity and stated: "He is one of the founders of the 'Yashar' party of Eisenkot."
Bardugo concluded his criticism by casting doubt on the possibility that Horowitz could serve in senior positions in the future: "Who would want to work with a person in a position of trust when he betrays that trust? The basic respect for a position of trust is lost."
