The Israeli artificial intelligence startup Wonderful has signed a three-year global partnership agreement with German football club Bayern Munich, becoming the club's official Enterprise AI partner.

This agreement gives the Israeli company a significant foothold in global sports. In the initial phase, Wonderful's AI agents will be integrated into fan services on match days, providing instant digital support for urgent ticket and user account inquiries within seconds without queueing. Additional technological applications for the club's daily operations are expected to follow.

Rapid Growth and the Omri Casspi Connection

Founded in 2025 with an initial focus on developing AI agents for non-English-speaking markets, Wonderful now operates in over 35 markets and employs hundreds of people.

This rapid expansion is reflected in its massive capital funding rounds:

  1. In March, the company completed a USD 150 million funding round at a valuation of approximately USD 2 billion.

  2. Earlier this month, Wonderful announced an additional USD 550 million funding round led by Insight Partners with participation from Salesforce, propelling its valuation to roughly USD 5 billion.

One of the prominent beneficiaries of the company's meteoric rise is former NBA basketball player Omri Casspi. Casspi, who manages the venture capital fund Swish Ventures—which recently raised USD 250 million for its third fund and manages approximately USD 800 million—was an early investor in Wonderful. Following the announcement, Casspi shared the news on X with the single-word reaction "sweet".

Expanding Global Footprint

As a groundbreaking first step on the international stage for Wonderful, the alliance with Bayern Munich provides an opportunity to showcase its enterprise technology capabilities to millions of fans and broad global operations.

Representatives from both the company and the club emphasized that the partnership is part of a comprehensive initiative to streamline operational efficiency and upgrade the fan experience. Bayern Munich executive board member and Chief Marketing Officer Ruben Casper noted that the partnership will enable the club to leverage the full potential of AI agents in organizational management.
