Wiz Celebrates Google Acquisition with Private Katy Perry Concert in Thailand
Cloud security giant Wiz celebrated its acquisition by Google with a lavish employee trip to Thailand, featuring a surprise private concert by pop star Katy Perry.
Cloud security unicorn Wiz celebrated its massive acquisition by Google with an exclusive, high-end employee getaway to Thailand. The company flew its staff to the island of Khao Lak, near Phuket, to mark the monumental corporate milestone.
The highlight of the Thai retreat was a surprise private concert by global pop superstar Katy Perry. Performing her biggest hits, including 'I Kissed a Girl', Perry entertained the employees in a lavish celebration reflecting the company's unprecedented financial success.
This extravagant event follows a long-standing tradition of lavish corporate gatherings hosted by Wiz. In November 2021, following a $250 million funding round at a $6 billion valuation, the firm flew employees to Mauritius for a custom-tailored private survival competition. Subsequent corporate milestones have featured major music icons, themed galas, and exclusive international trips.
