Widow of Murdered Israeli Criminal Flees Country Amid Massive Extortion Threats
The widow of a murdered Israeli criminal fled the country after organized crime figures demanded 50 million shekels or her luxury villa to cover alleged debts.

The widow of a prominent underworld figure murdered several years ago has fled Israel with her children and relatives following intense extortion demands by organized crime figures. According to sources familiar with the matter, criminals have demanded 50 million shekels to cover alleged debts left by her late husband, or alternatively, the handover of their 25-million-shekel luxury villa in central Israel along with other real estate and business assets.
The murdered criminal left an estate estimated at roughly 100 million shekels, including the luxury villa, cash, businesses, and high-end vehicles. Sources noted that he left no will, having been confident in his security and believing he was untouchable. Following his assassination, various underworld figures began demanding massive sums, claiming he took high-interest loans that were never repaid.
Conversely, sources close to the family maintain that the deceased was actually a meticulous lender to whom others owed money, rather than the debtor. A former police officer familiar with the case suggested that the extortionists may actually be individuals who owed money to the late criminal and are now attempting to exploit his family by enlisting criminal elements. The widow refused to pay and chose not to file a police complaint out of fear for her family's safety, opting instead to leave the country indefinitely with a small circle of relatives.
