A tremendous achievement for the Israeli youth water polo team: they won on Saturday in the European Championship semi-final against Poland and qualified for the final, where they will meet Russia.

The youth team has continued its wonderful performance, remaining undefeated in the European Championship taking place in Portugal. The encounter against Poland was particularly difficult, as one of the team's prominent players, Tomer Arzi, was unavailable to the coaching staff after being sent off with a red card the previous night.

The game did not start well for Israel, and the Poles opened up a significant five-goal lead. However, the character and impressive, sacrificial play of the blue-and-whites led to an amazing comeback during the second half. They turned the result around in the final quarter, securing a great 15:13 victory. Raz Sharir led Israel's scoring table with 4 goals.

On Sunday, the team will meet the strong Russian side for the final match. Even before the final, significant news arrived: by reaching this stage, Israel has moved up to Division A, marking a tremendous success.
